the hills - canceled

Wow, ask and you shall receive! The Hills is finally going to be put to rest. The season airing on April 27th will be the show’s last. The show’s creator, Adam DiVello said, “A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.” –So in other words he’s saying there’s no more scripted reality to write–these bitches are just plain boring.

I leave you with an open letter to The Hills:

Dear Hills…

Thank you for sucking so much time out of my week for the last 3+ years, and letting me live vicariously through your characters…but I guess, all things good/bad must come to an end. So with that I say…So long Speidi, so long brain-surgeon Patridge, so long nose-candy loving Kristin, and farewell grimy Justin Bobby. It’s been fun, and you’ve provided me with years of entertainment…but now I’m ready to put you to rest just like Lauren Conrad did. It’s been nice knowing you, but you’ve been replaced with hair gel, tanning beds, and fist bumps. May you R.I.P.

xoxo,

Nads

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I know I’m in the minority, but I am going to miss it. The Hills is a guilty pleasure of mine. I cackle every time Spencer acts like a giant douche which pretty much means I am rofl the whole time.

Oh, it’s been my guilty pleasure for so long. BUT, I was so over it after last season. It just wasn’t the same when dirty Kristin came on board. I mean, I still watched…but I was really over it. The City has me these days. I can’t get enough of it, I don’t know why…it’s sickening.

This is going to free up a lot of my time, which I really want to devote to my research in String Theory. I feel that I will soon turn physics on its ear. And the scientific world will be calling me “Daddy”.
