Tina Fey was on Rock Center with Brian Williams and dished about Housewives. She said she only likes The Housewives of New York and Beverly Hills, and called the Housewives of New Jersey sub-human. As far as OC goes…forget it about it…she said she can’t tell those plastics apart. She said “I literally can’t tell the women apart…they look like a fire at a wax museum” Ha! That’s probably the funniest description I’ve heard.

The best part about the interview was hearing Brian Williams affection for The Housewives of New Jersey. Priceless.

Here’s her interview (Housewives talk starts after 6:18):

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I think the BH ladies look much more like a fire in a wax museum, but they are sooooo much more likable and entertaining and respectable than OC. I can’t watch that shit either.

I love Tina Fey ever so much. She never fails to deliver the snark. Although, I probably love Liz Lemon a bit more. But I have to say that I was disappointed in “Bossypants.”

Tina, my angel, please drop the restraining order. I just want to talk, like we used to. Without the justice system and your legal team between us…

@Hypnotoad – yes! so disappointed in Bossypants. I had bigger expectations. Perhaps I set the bar too high? I also think I’m in love with Liz Lemon, and not Tina. So sad.

Hahaha. The thing that bugged me about Bossypants was that there was way too little of her early years, her time in Chicago, etc. I pretty much already knew everything she had to say about 30 Rock and SNL. I was hoping for an acerbic, witty, hysterical memoir . . . But I just didn’t think it delivered. I think I may have set the bar too hi too!

Liz Lemon, how I wish she walked the halls of my office. I heart Tina Fey with the heat of a thousand suns that caused the fire that melted the wax museum. Thanks Nads, this was an awesome way to start the day!

I’ve always been fond of the old “some of my meds aren’t playing well together, and I can’t be expected to stop drinking wine, too, am I??” excuse. If that doesn’t fly, I just have my people tell the media that I’m exhausted from non-stop touring in Indochina, and that I’m doing much better now. And please respect my privacy while I sleep it off, thank you.

Has Brian Williams always been a sucking black hole of humor? Dude’s like the Straight Man of Death.
