toddlers and tiaras

The stars of Toddlers & Tiaras were on Anderson Cooper’s show, and made quite a splash. Those moms were up there falling on their sword for their little pageant stars like it was nobodies business. Gotta love ‘em. Thanks @Robinez for the heads up!

Here are some videos from the show…

Eden singing her one hit wonder “Cutie Patootie”:

Eden’s mom talking about how much she’s spent so far on her career:

The Audience: Are beauty pageants sexualizing children?

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Please don’t refer to Cutie Patootie as a “hit”. It doesn’t even measure up to the disastrous “Friday”. I’d rather put Rebecca Black on an infinite loop on my iPod than have to listen to ONE VERSE of Cutie Patootie.

Oh, and does anyone else think the dresses they wore looked like smaller versions of costumes grown women wear on Halloween to look all “tarty”? Two of them look like saloon girls and one is wearing pantaloons! It was bizarre to say the least!

Sooooo Micki is already adding garters to Eden’s clothes so she can collect her ‘dollar bills’. I have to admit this showing of Cutie Patootie is the best I’ve see her perform(which is in no way a compliment)

@Nads I am sure you can now see how Teresa feels when someone doesn’t get the joke. If maybe you said “ha ha joke it’s funny” after it people would realize it’s a joke. Ha ha it’s joke wasn’t that funny guys???

Wow, that Mickie is nuts. I thought Eden’s supposedly regular clothes she changed into at the end of the show was borderline inappropriate as well as the little bo peep get up at the beginning, the first was too young, the second too old.

I made the mistake of watching this show today and now I have “Cutie Patootie” stuck in my head…it’s enough to make someone go insane. Did you know that Eden Wood has a book out?!?!? A book?? at age 6? What??

WHO WOULD BUY THAT ALBUM? If I wanted to hear a child scream into a microphone, I would volunteer to babysit my friend’s kids. Seriously. She is just yelling.

These women are deluded. I HATE the whole “if you see my child sexually, then there’s something wrong with you!” Um, shaking your ass and shimmy IS sexual. That’s like saying that it’s okay for a 15 year old to wear a low cut shirt, because if you notice it and think it’s weird, it’s because you’re a pervert. WTF.

When the put them in bikinis and high heels you are not trying to make them look sexy?
    These moms are fucked up.
Please Please Please don’t ever play Cutie Patootie again!
