Friday night truly is a programming wasteland.
Shark Tank (ABC, 8pm) A Texas family asks for an investment in a jewelry line designed by one of the daughters when she was 10 years old; a single mother pitches her wedge-type pillow for women; two men reinvent the tea experience.
I find this show’s name to be extremely misleading.
Undercover Boss (CBS, 8pm) Checkers & Rally’s CEO Rick Silva must make a decision about one of his restaurants while working there under cover.
Fun fact: Checkers has restaurants in Israel and American Samoa.
Kitchen Nightmares (Fox, 8pm) Chef Ramsay heads to Charlie’s, an Italian bistro in La Verne, Calif., to update the bland and unoriginal menu, lackluster service and old-fashioned decor.
Shut it down!
20/20 (ABC 9pm) One Moment in Time: The Life of Whitney Houston — The life of singer Whitney Houston, from her career achievements to her personal battles with addiction; information on Whitney’s final days; an interview Diane Sawyer conducted with the singer 10 years ago.
Frankly, I’m surprised that they waited this long to re-air that interview. Good for you, ABC.
A Gifted Man (CBS 9pm) The doctors team up to search for a common link when a spoiled pop star (Christina Milian) and a young girl both seek treatment for unusual symptoms.
This is the House meets Ghost meets Friday-night-death-slot show, yes?
Fringe (Fox 9pm) As the team investigates a mentally ill patient who seems to be connected to a series of murders, frightening clues and connections lead Olivia to a shocking conclusion.
I’m not sure how we’re supposed to know that Olivia is shocked, seeing as how she only has the one facial expression.
Infested (Animal Planet 9pm) Families face tough choices in five icky instances from the show’s first season.
Did you know that if you find a cockroach in your fridge, it means that there are at least 10,000 roaches living in your house? I didn’t either, until I watched this show.
Sweet Home Alabama (CMT 9pm) Paige is serenaded on a date by a love song written to win over her affection; midnight pranks intensify.
They’re jest lookin’ fer love, y’all.
Bluebloods (CBS 10pm) When a man’s family is beaten and robbed in front of him, the Regans debate how far they would go to protect the ones they love Frank’s mustache.
Faithful unto death.
Spartacus: Vengeance (STARZ 10pm) Spartacus leads survivors through the woods; Crixus returns to a place of past suffering; Lucretia pries into Ilithyias affairs.
Or you could just rent Rome.
If you like it, spread it!:

Why would there be a cockroach IN your fridge? hahahaha
That was one of the main things that held me back from getting hooked on Fringe: Olivia. She always looks like she’s fighting to keep down bad sushi. Like the scene is filming, and she’s thinking “…dontblurk dontblurk dontblurk…”.
“This is the House meets Ghost meets Friday-night-death-slot show, yes?” *Giggle, snort*
Isn’t “spoiled pop star” redundant? Love ya SuperB, SSC
Portlandia on IFC at 10PM EDT Weekly plug. WATCH IT and BE HAPPY!
@ Gypsy – I completely missed Portlandia on the TV listings. Thanks for plugging it, that show is hilarious.

I’m going to see them Monday night at Berklee. That show is GENIUS! Hopefully I can get a pic with Fred and Carrie and have them autograph my shirt with a bird on it! (Yes I am a SUPERFAN) FLOVE IT!
No worries SuperB, I always send out the plug. That show is just too good, I don’t want it to get cancelled.
@Nikki, right? If I find a roach IN my fridge, after being resurrected I’ll have to move out of the State, at least!
