Happy President’s Day!

The Bachelor (ABC 8pm) Ben travels to the hometowns of the final four women to meet their families.

Two hours of parents pretending to be supportive of their daughter’s “love” for a man that she barely knows.

House (Fox 8pm) House and Dominka work to convince Immigration they are a happy couple.

Remember when House married a prostitute? Cos that happened.

Gossip Girl (CW 8pm) Dan is honored when he learns Upright Citizen’s Brigade is performing excerpts of his book; Blair tries to save her friendship with Serena; Ivy winds up on a collision course with the van der Woodsens.

The Parent’s Television Council has called this show “Mind-blowingly inappropriate.” I call it “Mind-blowingly meh.”

Antiques Roadshow (PBS 8pm) A 6.5 carat yellow mine cut diamond ring; North American Indian club and pipe that may have belonged to Sitting Bull; three Charles Darwin first editions.

Anything’s better than this creepy baby doll. Which is worth $4000.

Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family 8pm) A surprising new victim is targeted by “A”; family troubles drive Spencer into Wren’s arms.

More fine family programming from this family-themed station.

Basketball Wives (VH1 8pm) Premiere — New women join the mix.

It is 2012, and there are like 10 reality shows on the air that define women by being wives. Just sayin’.

Two and a Half Men (CBS 9pm) Episode: Not in My Mouth!

The show’s gotten so much classier since Charlie Sheen left.

Bethenny Ever After (Bravo 9pm) Premiere: Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems — A party for the new cocktail; the hectic schedules and being in the spotlight along with being a new parent wears on Jason.

Those are some serious problems, all right.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS 10pm) The team investigates when a man dressed as a Hawaiian NaKoa warrior is found dead near the site of a war re-enactment.

So much more colorful than the Civil War re-enactments of the continental U.S.

Smash (NBC 10pm) Episode: Enter Mr. Dimaggio

A strategically placed comma would completely change the meaning of this episode’s title.

About

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.
