Hell’s Kitchen (Fox 8pm) Ramsay puts the chefs’ communication skills to the test; the contestants face their most important dinner service yet.

This batch of contestants are excellent at communication — they have passive-aggressive body language down to an art.

Deadliest Catch (The Discovery Channel 8pm) The opilio season comes to a close; a veteran deckhand pays dearly for a mistake.

Something about this description screams “accidental amputation.”

Trust Us With Your Life (ABC 9pm) Jerry Springer: Improv actors re-enact moments from talk show host Jerry Springer’s life.

Take care of yourself… and each other.

MasterChef (Fox 9pm) The cooks face a mystery box challenge featuring shrimp, with the winner choosing a savory item the hopefuls will have to use in a dessert dish.

This is going to get nasty.

Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo 9pm) Never-aired footage from season seven includes a double date with Vicki, Brooks, Gretchen and Slade; reunion showdowns; Heather and Alexis pursue their dream careers.

I’m fairly certain that that many enormous egos in one place is a violation of the fire code.

15 Awesomest Boy Bands (E! 9pm) Interviews, expert commentary, and news clips of the greatest boy bands.

Surely the proper phrasing is “most awesome.”

Dance Moms (Lifetime 9pm) Jill and Kendall return to the Abby Lee Dance Company; the mothers learn that Maddie landed the role on “Drop Dead Diva”; Paige’s future is threatened.

In other news, Paige’s normal life might now be able to begin.

Love in the Wild (NBC 10pm) Finale: The final couples embark on an overnight quest that tests their strength and the strength of their relationships; the winning couples receives a romantic trip around the world.

So to speak.

Teen Mom (MTV 10pm) Maci and Ryan clash over preschool; Tyler pressures Catelynn to enroll in college; Farrah dates a new guy; Amber leaves rehab.

These story lines would be way more interesting if the show wasn’t 6 months behind the tabloids.

The Glee Project (Oxygen 10pm) The shoot for Survivor’s ”Eye of the Tiger” leaves the group frustrated as they try to do their parts in just one take.

Rocky could do it in one take. #JustSaying

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.

    Happy Birthday SuburBint! I hope you have a great birthday. Not only do you provide a new factoid 6 days a week, you provide snark gold to the point that drinking is not possible while reading anything you write (or else my computer will hate me) and we are birthday twins.
