Happy birthday, Danny Masterson!

The Biggest Loser (NBC 8pm) After a tug-of-war competition, one contestant receives a shopping spree with fashion designer Jessica Simpson.

Draw your own conclusions as to whether that shopping spree went to the winner or the loser.

Raising Hope (Fox 8pm) Virginia and Sabrina join forces to lure a raccoon from under the Chance’s porch; Hope’s continuing bad behavior leads Virginia and Burt to suggest spanking.

I love how this show is named around the baby, yet the baby is barely even in the show.

I Hate My Teenage Daughter (Fox 8:30pm) When Annie decides to go on a date with her former Spanish teacher, Alex (Mark Consuelos), jealous Jack runs a background check and learns that Alex is hiding a secret.

I Hate This Stupid TV Show.

The River (ABC 9pm) A cannibalistic terror targets the Magus crew as they investigate an abandoned research facility; Kurt is forced to make a personal sacrifice.

Ringer (CW 9pm) Episode: What We Have Is Worth the Pain

It really isn’t.

The Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo 9pm) Slade and some of the OC men bring drama to the Bunco Party.

Drama? At a Bunco party? Heaven forfend!

Fashion Star (NBC 9:30pm) Premiere: The contestants must design and create their signature items; after an exhilarating runway show, the retailers make on-the-spot decisions.

So it’s Project Runway…?

Tabetha Takes Over (Bravo 10pm) Episode: Barkingham Palace — Tabatha needs to help Tee & Tania stop arguing over management long enough to save their doggie daycare and grooming business.

This episode is going to be awesome.

Justified (FX 10pm) Raylan chases a Dixie Mafia soldier who may be the key to taking down Quarles; Ava turns brutal in order to protect a prostitute.

The Dixie Mafia is a real thing! As is the Cornbread Mafia. I love America.

The Bates Family Special (TLC 10pm) The Bates family introduces us to an amazing family of 21, living a simple, music filled life in the hills of Tennessee.

Giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “The Bates Motel.”

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.
