Tuesday, May 22

On May 22, 1906, Orville and Wilbur Wright were granted U.S. Patent Number 821,393 for their flying machine.

American Idol (Fox 8pm) The two finalists perform.

Remember how Kelly Clarkson won American Idol and then became totally, legitimately successful? That’s probably not going to happen for either of these people. Sorry, guys!

Dancing With the Stars (ABC 9pm) Finale: Gladys Knight performs; Kelly Clarkson performs; the winner is chosen.

Renewal status: Renewed, of course! Who do you think they’ll get to be the “stars” next year? Has Teresa Giudice been on DWtS yet?

Speaking of Teresa, read this article. I’m fairly certain this is what her work is like when she doesn’t have a ghost writer.

America’s Got Talent (NBC 9pm) Auditions in New York continue.

And that’s all you need to know.

Glee (Fox 9pm) Finale: At graduation, the kids consider the future.

There’s an original premise! Renewal status: Renewed. In only a few short months we’ll be able to see exactly how Rachel, Finn, and Kurt manage to so profoundly messed up their lives and ended up spending all their time still in Glee Club. I hate this preposterous show.

LA Complex (The CW 9pm) Connor hits rock bottom; Kaldrick threatens Abby; Nick’s love life heats up; Alicia finds hope.

Remember Melrose Place? Me too.

The Real Housewives of Orange County (Bravo 9pm) Brooks tries to support Vicki; Tamra and Slade hash out their past; Gretchen and Slade go to couple’s counseling.

The episode title is “Scream Therapy.” This might be awesome.

Dance Moms: Miami (Lifetime 10pm) The mothers assume that Abby and Sammy have quit the dance team when they do not show up; Abby and Sammy return.

That’s basically a synopsis of my dog’s emotional processes every time we leave the house without him.

16 and Pregnant (MTV 10pm) A Virginia high schooler follows in her older sister’s teen mother path.

You can lead a teenager to the Piggly Wiggly, but you can’t make her buy condoms.

Amish Out of Order (The National Geographic Channel 10pm) Episode: Mending Fences

Much like these gentlemen.

Hollywood Treasure (SyFy 10pm) Joe has his eye on a coveted movie icon, but a seller could cut his dreams down to size.

This show qualifies for SyFy because the seller actually cuts Joe’s dreams down to size with mystical dream-cutting garden shears. I don’t want to ruin the show for you by telling you what happens next.

About

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.

Well, ya gotta know that if it involves an alternate lifestyle, I’m all over it. Let’s see… Gypsies, yep. Polygamists, yep. Amish, oh yeah.

Knew a woman who practiced polyamory. Her husband was a sweet little dweeb, and all of a sudden a hunky guy moved into the relationship. She divided her time between them and then all of a sudden the husband had custody of their daughter and she and hunk-y moved out of state together.

I just started to watch Hollywood Treasure (it was discussed on either here or PopCandy). It is really interesting but annoying at the same time. I know Joe is just trying to make for good tv and get his cut of the sale. But when he gets mad at a collector for not wanting to sell, why? He has no reason to be mad except he wants the money. He is only selling from one collector to another. What is the problem if it is not sold and still at a collectors house? I can see him getting frustrated with the costume & prop houses but not with individuals.

I read the article….hahahaha, now that was entertaining. I clicked on their “about us” tab and not surprisingly, there was nothing there.

    Duh. *slaps forehead*

Sweet merciful… The last time I heard the Mother Tongue mangled that badly was when my ‘puter went all wonky on me and I was plugged into a Third World techie whose electronic skills far exceeded his verbal skill in English

That article reminds me of reading some of my friends emails/status after I try and translate them using an online translator. It was actually hard to read.

OMG holy translator fail! That article was mind boggling but I could SO see Teresa saying those words in that EXACT order lol. I wonder what language it originated in before Google Translator tore it to shreds!
