Wednesday, April 4

Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on this day in 1968.

Survivor: One World (CBS 8pm) A tribe member is confronted about her appearance; all sense of security is eradicated in the Tikiano tribe.

But they’re all so shiny and pretty and photoshopped!

Betty White’s Off Their Rockers (NBC 8pm) Seniors target unsuspecting young people with pranks that include pouring a late spouse’s ashes on a park bench and writing tickets for makeup violations.

Old age and treachery will defeat youth and enthusiasm every time… until the dementia sets in.

American Idol (Fox 8pm) The finalists perform songs from the 1980s.

Which only one of them was even alive during.

Best Friends Forever (NBC 8:30) Premiere: After receiving divorce papers, Jessica decides to move back in with her former roommate in Brooklyn, New York; as Jessica falls back into old routines and reconnects with old friends, she also receives criticism from a 9-year-old neighbor.

Apparently, my nightly prayer, “From “Odd Couple” remakes, spunky female divorcee characters, and mouthy precocious child actors, network TV preserve us,” didn’t pay off.

Criminal Minds (CBS 9pm) The team investigates a series of gothic, ritualistic murders in Oregon.

Between the preponderance of serial killers and the spotted or herbaceous hipster population, I really have no desire to ever visit the Pacific Northwest.

Couple’s Therapy (VH1 9pm) Tashera struggles to keep DMX from quitting; Linda Hogan’s trust is put to the test.

Sweet giraffe balls, there are so many things wrong with this picture.

Million Dollar Listing (Bravo 10pm) Zach Vella brings in another real estate agent to help Michael.

Sometimes I wonder why I didn’t have the good fortune to be born into a super rich family where I could be an incompetent buffoon and still get rewarded for no other reason than nepotism, but then I remember that I was given a brain, and everything is right with the world again.

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes (MTV 10pm) Reunion: Cast members reunite and discuss the season.

So that’s happening.

Toddlers & Tiaras (TLC 10pm) Shian and Isabella go up against Paisley to compete for the big title.

I’m sure you all remember Paisley.

Psych (USA 10pm) Episode: True Grits — A Southern chef hires Shawn and Gus to find the person he spent time in jail for.

The Jeff Bridges True Grits is better than the John Wayne True Grits: Discuss.

What will you be watching tonight?

About

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.
