Wednesday, March 21

Alcatraz officially closed on this date in 1963…. Or did it?

Survivor: One World (CBS 8pm) Pain threatens a castaway’s ability to stay in the competition; the Tribal Council makes some changes.

Everybody watching falls asleep.

Whitney (NBC 8pm) Alex drunkenly proposes to Whitney after a bachelor party where a dancer, Britnee (Eve), lured him into the champagne room.

That’s exactly how I got engaged! I mean, my friend….

American Idol (Fox 8pm) The 10 remaining finalists perform Billy Joel songs.

Only the Good Die Young, Uptown Girl, Piano Man, and We Didn’t Start the Fire are songs I have money on being sung tonight.

Bent (NBC 9pm) Premiere: After a divorce, Alex moves into a smaller home with her daughter and hires Pete, a free-spirited, charismatic contractor, to renovate her kitchen.

Is that supposed to make us want to watch this show?

America’s Next Top Model (CW 9pm) A contestant thinks about leaving the competition; the models are challenged to create a commercial; during the photo shoot, the women model high-fashion hats while posing in vintage cars; guest judge J. Alexander.

Miss J.!!!!!

Miss J.! Miss J.! Miss J.! Miss J.!

What? I’m not excited. You are. Shut up. (Miss J.!!!!)

Happy Endings (ABC 9:30pm) Dave gets bullied at the gym and Alex teaches him to fight back; residents of the condo challenge Jane for her job as president of the homeowner’s association.

Honestly, I had never even heard of this show until I started doing TT10, and it comes as a surprise every week when I see it on the listings.

CSI (CBS 10pm) The team investigates a robbery/homicide at an “Alice in Wonderland”-themed wedding.

Sadly, none of the guests can be relied on as witnesses because they all ate from both sides of the mushroom.

Duck Dynasty (A&E 10pm) Willie becomes annoyed when Phil and Jase prefer to hunt and fish rather than attend to Duck Commander business; Willie helps Miss Kay with a cooking video.

I might have to watch this show.

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes (MTV 10pm) The top three teams are revealed; cast members learn the final challenge will take place in Iceland.

And may or may not involve dressing like Bjork.

My Crazy Obsession (TLC 10pm) Stanley has been obsessed with being an adult baby for the past 18 years.

I saw that on a CSI episode once… it did not end well.

What will you be watching tonight?

About

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.

The man baby episode of the original recipe CSI was the first episode of that series that I ever watched. I was hooked after the man baby, and the fact that he was married to Nina Van Horn.

I would pay money to see someone mumble ANY of the lyrics to We Didn’t Start the Fire.

Thanks, Nikki! I sincerely have heard nothing about this show except for seeing it on the listings every Wednesday night. I’ll have to check it out.

Tonight’s Survivor was so worth it! Can’t wait until the Mini-Cap.
