Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta turns 26 today.
Survivor: One World (ABC 8pm) A tribe member makes a bold move that throws allegiances into question.
Here’s hoping it doesn’t involve nudity.
Whitney (NBC 8pm) Finale: Something Black, Something Blue — Whitney and Alex head to City Hall to get married, but an expired driver’s license sparks an unusual chain of events that interferes with their plan; Whitney’s father (Peter Gallagher) tries to come to the rescue.
Black and blue are definitely words that I want associated with my wedding.
American Idol (Fox 8pm) Episode: 9 Finalists Compete — The 10 finalists perform.
Somebody can’t count….
America’s Next Top Model (The CW 9pm) The women go on castings for jobs during Toronto’s fashion week; the models take pictures among foliage and covered in maple syrup; guest judge Beverly Johnson.
I’d like to see them pull off this look. With the beard.
Ghost Hunters International (SyFy 9pm) Episode: Frankenstein’s Castle: Belgium and Italy
They do know that Doctor Frankenstein was a fictional character, right?
Couple’s Therapy (VH1 9pm) DMX and his ex-wife have an intense fight; trouble for Angelina (“Jersey Shore”) and boyfriend Chris.
#famewhoreproblems
Million Dollar Listing New York (Bravo 10pm) Fredrik lines up a private showing; Michael lands a listing with Fredrik’s current client; Ryan represents a buyer with a unique pet.
It’s a kangaroo. Swear to God. An honest-to-goodness, bona fide, in the flesh kangaroo. I want one.
The Challenge: Battle of the Exes (MTV 10pm) Finale: The top three teams face their toughest challenge including a eating Viking’s feast, tunneling through mounds of snow and scaling a glacial mountain.
What exactly is “a eating Viking’s feast”? I guess they’re saving money by not using a proofreader these days.
American Weed (The National Geographic Channel 10pm) After the banning of medical marijuana dispensaries in Colorado, the Stanley brothers remained focused on their mission.
And that mission is to bring pot to the people.
Psych (USA 10pm) Episode: Autopsy Turvy — Shawn and Gus search for a body’s cause of death to save Woody from being fired for making a mistake.
Woody is this really goofy coroner, and he is awesome. And Shawn is awesome. And Gus is awesome. And Lassiter is awesome. And Shawn’s dad is awesome. And Juliette is okay, I guess. (Yes, I love Psych!)
What will you be watching tonight?
I’m having epidural injections tomorrow for some compressed nerves in my back, so Flipit will be taking over Top 10 duty for a couple days. I should be with you again for the Weekend Edition. I’m feeling vaguely terrified (needles and I do not get along well) so if you have any warm fuzzies that you’re not currently using, and care to send them my way, that would be awesome.

It will be fine and your pain will lessen as the muslces relax. Spinals and epidurals will be a reielf. Personally, I blame my children and spouse for my back pain
!
Warm fuzzies headed your way, SuburBint!!
I had an epidural and I was scared to death. I’d heard so many horror stories about the needle going in just as I inhaled or flinched, and me being paralyzed forever. I forced the nurse to hold me in a bear grip to prevent any sudden movement. The anesthesiologist laughed at me and debunked all the myths about paralysis from the needle in my spine. It went well; I didn’t feel a thing, during and after. I even took to calling him the Pusher Man and begging for him every time my drip ran low.
“I’m your Mama
I’m your Daddy
I’m that N-word
In the alley
I’m your doctor
When in need
Want some coke?
Have some weed.”
Basically, epidurals make you feel good. Or better than one would without them.
Here’s to a speedy recovery!!
Good luck with the procedure! Anything to remove pain is good in my book.
btw – Frankenstein’s Castle is the name of the castle they believe Mary Shelley based her book around. Like Hamlet’s Castle in Denmark.
Oh yeah, Stanley Bros, bring it on!
And a hit before the epidural… nevermind SuperB. No pain on earth like lower back and the treatment will make you feel mucho better!!! The needles are teensy and will not hurt. just follow all the instructions (Don’t lift your head, and tell misterbint not to have a chili dog before he visits. Just sayin’)’
All the warm fuzzies sent your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope everything goes well for you!
Warm fuzzies zooming your way! Hang in there, SuperB! You know what your mama told ya – just lie back and think of Scotland!
SuburBint…I know not everyone is comfortable with this, so I will ask if it’s okay to put you in our prayers.
Whatever works to help our superB get better! I’m all for it!!!
Absolutely that is fine, cattyfan!
You guys are awesome. Getting ready to leave the house now. Yikes! Looking forward to the relief that it (hopefully!) brings.
xoxoxo

I’m late with this, but so glad you are home, and hope you have lasting pain relief. Those shots can be scary, but they work! Rest well and sweet dreams.
