Saturday, March 10

On this day in 1876, Alexander Graham Bell successfully operated the telephone for the very first time.

Slim pickings, folks. Rent a movie, go to bed early, have sex, whatever. There is pretty much nothing on TV tonight.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo 8pm) Episode: The Social Edition

Don’t know, don’t care.

20/20 (ABC 9pm) Children of hoarders; women who love cats; a former hair model has the condition alopecia; children with progeria.

That sounds fun.

The Firm (NBC 9pm) Mitch defends a woman accused of kidnapping a baby; Abby thinks a student is being abused; Tammy and Ray find useful information regarding the Sarah Holt case; Joey tries to prove a point.

So that’s still on.

Billy the Exterminator (A&E 9pm) Critters are disturbing the scariest part of New Orleans.

As opposed to the drunk frat boys that are disturbing all of the other parts of New Orleans.

The Suze Orman Show (CNBC 9pm) Episode: Rules for Lending Money

Don’t. Sorted! Next?

Sunday, March 11

The Tohuku earthquake was one year ago today

The Sunday night TV roster is actually pretty decent. Now you just have to choose between:

Desperate Housewives (ABC 8pm) Susan learns that Ben’s loan shark is targeting Mike; Carlos exhibits unusual behavior during his first day back at work; Tom’s girlfriend, Jane, has shocking news for Lynette.

Yay!

The Good Wife (CBS 8pm) Alicia helps Colin Sweeney when a sexual misconduct claim affects his efforts to win back control of his company; Peter asks Cary to enforce office policies.

Double yay!

The Celebrity Apprentice (NBC 8pm) The teams must produce an event to introduce a new car; while the men’s project manager selection is questioned, conflict divides the women’s team; Trump makes a surprising decision.

This is the best season of Celebrity Apprentice that we’ve had in a long time. I seriously can’t wait!

The Walking Dead (AMC 8pm) Someone dangerous may be loose near the farm; Rick, Shane, Daryl and Glenn keep the group safe.

I know, I wasn’t expecting danger either.

GCB (ABC 9pm) Amanda worries that Laura will be branded as less-than-pretty at school; Gigi throws a luncheon to reintroduce Amanda to society; Carlene plots revenge against Amanda; Blake and Cricket disagree; Sharon wonders about Zach.

I missed the season premiere! Are we recapping this? Should we be?

What are you watching this weekend?

About

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.

Glad I have Season one of Game of Thrones to keep me occupied today. My best friend and I are doing a synchronized long-distance viewing marathon. Dinklage!

Mmmmm, Dinklage! Love him, and Tyrion is my favorite character throughout the series, so put the two together and I am one happy camper.
