Tonight’s Top 10 Shows: Weekend Edition

Watercooler

“But first…”  - Julie Chen (January 6, 1970; age 43)

Friday January 4

AT&T Cotton Bowl (8PM ET, FOX)  Oklahoma Sooners vs. Texas A&M Aggies

So what’s Johnny Football’s paycheck for this game?

Saturday January 5

Wild Card Playoffs (8PM, NBC)  Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers

Christian Ponder in the Frozen Tundra…Where do I place my bets?

Sunday January 6

Once Upon a Time (8PM, ABC)  Prince Charming and Snow White plan the evil queen’s execution.

Obama finally put together one of those death panels.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (8PM, Bravo)  Kenya takes Walter on a fishing date.

A fishing date?  They’re not even trying to hide that they have writers.

Mob Wives (8PM, VH1)  Drita and Big Ang try to settle a feud between Carla and Renee.

There’s more realism in a WWE tag team match.

The Biggest Loser (9PM, NBC)  Fifteen adults and three young teens come to the ranch to lose weight and change their lives.

So you’re going to put three fat teens around fifteen other adults on a private ranch…I thought “To Catch a Predator” was cancelled.

Shahs of Sunset (9PM, Bravo)  GG is left out of the vacation and instead decides to prove her worth as a businesswoman.

First order as a businesswoman: she’s going to use her two weeks off to take a vacation.

Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off (9PM, Food)  The teams must cook a prix fixe menu for a dinner theater and perform a skit for the patrons.

Gilbert Gottfried is on this show.  I’ve seen “The Aristocrats”.  I would not eat anything made by Gilbert Gottfried.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo (9PM, TLC)  Mama faces her greatest fear.

Salads? Heart Disease? Books?

Best Funeral Ever (10PM, TLC)  The staff at Golden Gate Funeral Home throws unusual funerals — from a barbecue-themed ceremony to one celebrating the Christmas spirit.

I think the Easter spirit would be a little more fitting.
