 Gun Stories (7:30 pm) An in-depth look at the FN Fal.

I bet the NRA thinks it’s cruel that you can watch this show but can’t readily buy the featured product.

 Pasion Prohibida (8 pm Telemundo) La historia de una bella mujer que se convierte en una víctima de su propia venganza.

You don’t need to speak Spanish; prohibited passion is a language all its own.

 

Gee, your hair smells bueno.

 

Survivor: Caramoan (8pm CBS) Malcolm and Corinne’s special bond leads to a discovery that livens up the game; unrest ensues after alliances shift.

Danged if I’d get left on an island with that bat-shit crazy cat Phillip.

American Idol (8pm FOX) Semifinalist Round. Part 3.

Idol, Survivor, and Whitney Cumming’s sitcom, all on at 8. I wonder who’s gonna lose that race?

Whitney (8pm, NBC) Whitney is not enthused when Alex tries to bring his former motorcycle days back to life; Lily orders new beer for the bar without Mark’s approval.

Win… place… Whitney.

 Kourtney and Kim Take Miami (8pm E!) Kourtney wants to leave the hotel and find a house; Scott gets overly friendly with Khloe; Rob has a bad breakup.

The kontinuing adventures of a two kooky kunts.

Jesus: The Lost 40 Days (8pm History 2) Re-creating the events in the lost gospels of Mary Magdalene, Thomas, Peter and others.

Mary Magdalene never did save her work often enough.

Law & Order: SVU (9 pm, NBC) A promising singer is beaten by her boyfriend, a famous hip-hop star, but she refuses to help ADA Barba build his case; the defendant and his attorney turn the case into a media circus.

I just can’t wait for the SVU gang to explain to us why Ri-Ri didn’t just have Chris arrested.

Duck Dynasty (10pm, A&E) The men camp out the evening before the opening of duck season; Miss Kay rebuffs unbathed Phil’s romantic advances.

I don’t really know what this show is about. But I haven’t tried really hard to find out, either.

Top Chef: Seattle (10pm, Bravo) Finale.

Listening to Hughnibrow talk has the same effect on me as hearing Norah Jones sing: Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Inflection! Inflection! My kingdom for inflection!

By day, I'm an editor. That means I get a cruel thrill out of identifying the parts of other people's creative projects that suck, and alerting those people to said suckage. Sometimes, I get paid for it. I've been known to lose my appetite after seeing how a Thai menu has folded, spindled, and mutilated the Queen's English. Imagine what TV does to me! I guess that's why I wanted to be a recapper at TVgasm. My friends have heard all of my rants, and they are sick of them. TVgasm is a whole new captive audience! So, let's make a compact, you and I: you agree to read my recaps and take what amusement you can from them, and I agree to put into the print the outrageous observations about the show that you thought, but were too PC to say. Let's share our joyous rage after wasting another perfectly good hour in front of the television.

Oh, and I still believe that Magnum, P.I. was the greatest show on television. Although I have not seen Thomas Magnum fishtail that Ferrari in the opening credits since I was 14. If Magnum, P.I. actually sucked, keep your damn squeal hole shut and don't ruin it for me, OK?

    Try watching Duck Dynasty better than some of the other Reality shows.

    I DID read somewhere (maybe in the Morrisey thing) that the brothers–are they a family?–support each other rather than constantly strive for each other’s destruction as on most reality shows. That sounds promising, at least.

    You can’t make me start liking HughniBrow, though. That’s just not going to happen!
