- Everyone’s new favorite Walking Dead is shaking things up. The entire writing staff has been let go and the Executive Producer is mulling over an entirely new way of doing things-no permanent writing staff. Say what? Oh and we may not be getting new episodes until NEXT OCTOBER (via Deadline).

- You can sleep at night Uma Thurman’s stalker has caught. (via Gawker)

- Medium has gone the way of Lone Star.  (via EW)

- Best News of the Christmas season: A Christmas Story has been adapted as a musical. The theatre production is being headed by none other than the original Ralphie (Peter Billingsley). (via The Hollywood Reporter)

Hey! We’ve got a huge hit on our hands, AND it’s getting great reviews! So….let’s fire all the writers. Also, if they wait until next fall for new episodes, they will have lost all of their momentum.

    What a bunch of idiots.

Also…I didn’t realize that in Ohio, where the movie was filmed, yoou can tour The Christmas Story house and museum, and on Thanksgiving weekend every year there is a convention. This year a number of the actors were on hand for it.

I should take my husband next year. He loves that movie.

Agreed, cattyfan. Why mess with a good thing? And waiting 10 effing months for a new season?? I know they wanted to debut on Halloween this year & maybe that’s the “thinking” behind waiting till Oct. for next season, but unless they give us a USA network style mid-year season in-between, they’re going to piss off their fans.

Next Halloween is a long time but we wait every year for Mad Men and the wait has not made the fan base waver.

Oh, goody–I hope they get the writers from “Dead Set” which was a much better zombie series. “Walking Dead” is focusing too much on the walking rather than the walking dead.
