With Betty White’s career resurrection, it’s the perfect time for TVland to launch it’s new sitcom, Hot in Cleveland, at 10pm tonight. Even though the show has been in the works for some time, Ms. White has now taken on a more formidable role on the show…. and why not, she’s an icon who is glowing in her new, younger fan base. The show stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves & Wendie Malick, all former sitcom stars of past, who find themselves stranded in Cleveland, Ohio. They decide to stick around for a bit & Valerie rents an apartment from none other than Betty White. Hilarity follows. Actually, I’ve read reviews that say it’s quite good, in an 80′s sitcom way. We shall see.

Seventeen new chieftestants are ready to tackle the season 7 premiere of Top Chief: Washington D.C. at 9pm, on Bravo. Chief Eric Ripert has joined the cast as a new judge. I’m just excited to be able to read J-Mo’s recaps! No one does it better! The show will be followed by Bravo’s new series, Work of Art, at 10pm. The challenge tonight is to make a “work of art” out of a pile of electronic trash, such as toasters, keyboards etc…. Hilarity follows.

Another new show premieres tonight. This one is on the Planet Green Network. The Fabulous Beekman Boys airs at 9pm. Two gay city boys, one a former Martha Stewart V.P. & the other a drag queen turned ad exec, move to upstate New York to run an organic farm. Josh & Bret take on 80 goats, 2 pigs, a dozen chickens & a nasty-ass llama to prove that they are crazy. Hilarity follows.

Man v.s. Food is back for it’s season 3 premiere on the Travel Channel, at 9pm. While we wait for his inevitable heart attack, he will down a 12-egg omelet, slathered with cheese & chili, with 2 biscuits & home fries as side dishes. Pass the ketchup.
Other new shows on tonight are TV’s Greatest Surprises: A Paley Center for Media Special at 8pm on CBS. Hosted by Survivor’s Jeff Probst (they need to get their money’s worth out of him), we get a countdown of the “30 biggest surprises & special moments” on TV. Lots of stars lend their comments to the occasion.
NBC continues it’s auditions for America’s Got Talent, at 9pm. I have to say that I’m loving Howie Mandel as the new judge. He’s funny & truly enjoying himself as he watches people, who are crazier than him, parade out on stage for his entertainment.
So You Think You Can Dance goes LIVE tonight, at 8pm, as the “Top 11″ perform for the judges. I haven’t picked a favorite yet, but I’m sure someone will catch my eye tonight.
ABC’s only new episode tonight is Happy Town, at 10pm. Everything else will be repeats.
That about wraps it up. I plan on watching Hot in Cleveland & Top Chief. How about you?
If you like it, spread it!:

Don’t forget Toddlers & Tiaras on TLC @ 10p. I watch this one too for Dear Crabby’s hysterical recaps. Tonight there is some sort of scandal with a pageant judge.
