Yes, it’s true! Summer is right around the corner and what is summer TV without Big Brother! Earlier today CBS announced that Big Brother 13 would begin on Thursday, July 7th. The show will continue to air on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8pm, but Thursday’s LIVE show will now air at 9pm. They haven’t said anything about Big Brother After Dark airing on Showtime this season. One thing they are promoting is their new show, Same Name, about real people with the same names as celebrities, trading places with them while the cameras roll. Sounds hilarious doesn’t it? I can’t wait to see these celebrities. It will air right after BB13 on Sunday nights at 9pm, starting July 24th.

So tell me, are you ready for the back-stabbing, screaming meltdowns, the crazy ridiculous food challenges, the dreadful decor of the BB house, the shrill sound of “Who wants to see my HOH room?”, the shouting diary room confessions and most of all …. “The ChenBot” Julie Chen proclaiming “I’m sorry but you have been evicted from the Big Brother House.” I can’t think of a better way to spend the summer, can you?

    i was JUST wondering about this the other day. One of the few of my garbage shows Mr. P-Baby likes. I can’t wait!!! And for the first time in my life, I actually have Showtime so I better see some After Dark action. WOOOOO!

    It’s also how I found TVgasm!! (Side note: it’s actually how Slumrville – newest FNL recapper – and I found TVgasm!) I always feel just a little dirty while watching it….but that’s ok….it’s just so damn entertaining!!! :)

    Ahhh murder threats, STD’s, drug busts, porno stars, welcome back BB! Who’s going to jail after this season? I’m on pins and needles. That it’s BB13 (wooo-hooo) can only help. Maybe they’ll have a haunted house theme.

    I logged on and saw Big Brother and my heart took a leap! Then I realized it was just saying it was starting soon. Yes, I am easily excited. LOL

    Forgot to mention, when I logged onto the site and I saw Flipit’s “we’re in!!” in the comment roll, I thought it was on the Theresa newsgasm. I was like “Flipit’s gonna party with Theresa?” lol

    So excited for it to return! If feel the same way, @lrhflute. I’m slightly ashamed to watch but I can’t turn away. Hope we have a bunch of train wrecks!

    There’s always a Ratalie or a Jesse. It wouldn’t be Big Brother if there’s no one to despise and loathe. Personally, I’m hoping for some really skeezy people, like the crew of that winter season. Ick. I still feel dirty from watching that one.

    I am SO FREAKIN’ EXCITED!!! I am a HUGE BB fan, and only recently found TVgasm, now i am TOTALLY thrilled to find that you guys cover BB too!

    CAN’T. WAIT.

    Normally when I am awakened by my phone b/c the gap decided it was important for me to know that they had one day free shipping, I am pissed. Not during big brother time, I am happy for that update so I can wake up and read what happened while I was sleeping.

    My husband & I cannot agree on any TV show to watch together with the exception of Big Brother! Big Brother unites our family…cant wait!

    I think the gorilla suit was on the same season as he played, wasn’t it? I forget the season numbers, but he was on his regular season, then the one with the high school groups and then he was in a pandora’s box on another season. So I guess that is three or four if the gorilla suit was a separate season. Yeah, we’ve seen that db enough. I hope he doesn’t pop up again on this season.
