Showtime has announced that Oscar winner Neil Jordan’s new epic series The Borgias will air on Sunday, April 3rd with a 2 hour premiere starting at 9pm. It stars Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia who became the Pope in 1492. It seems he and his whole family were quite notorious for their unorthodox ways. Showtime is hoping this will give grieving fans of The Tudors a much needed fix.

Nurse Jackie and United States of Tara will both be returning on Monday, March 28th. Jackie for her 3rd season at 10pm and Tara for her 3rd go-around at 10:30pm. Just to refresh your memories, at the end of last season Jackie had just been found out about all her pill popping ways and was in the midst of a friendly drug intervention. Tara, meanwhile, goes back to school this season and Eddie Izzard will be her college professor. Bring on the crazy!
