TV Patrol: Ochocinco is no LeBron!

Cleveland still has an athelete they can be proud of. Forget that moronic LeBron dude…. Cinncinati Bengel’s Chad Ochocinco will make them proud! His new “dating reality show”, Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch, premieres tonight at 9pm, on VH1. This 90-minute opener has our former “Dancing with the Stars” hoofer surrounded by 85 women, all wanting to date him. He definitely has his wide-receiver hands full. No worries, NFL buddy Bernard Berrian helps him weed them out & they end up with 17 beauties for Chad to date. Here’s hoping this is the new “Jock of Love”!

If that’s not enough dating football players for ya, then just stick around VH1 cuz The T.O. Show follows at 10:30pm for it’s 2nd season opener. Buffalo Bills wide receiver, Terrill Owens spends his off-season time struggling with decisions of his football future & his love life, by moving to L.A. Seems there are more ladies to date there.

There’s the premiere of a new detective show on A&E tonight, at 10pm. The Glades stars Jim Longworth as a Chicago detective who’s relocated to Palm Glade, Florida (thus the name) for sleeping with the boss’s wife, an accusation that he denies. He is also an annoying “know it all” & not very well liked most of the time. That’s what makes this show different. Kind of a House-type cop show. He’s cute so I’ll watch it once.

Kid in a Candy Store is a new show premiering on the Food Network Channel at 10pm. Adam Gertler, a former Next Food Network Star loser from season #4, travels around the country looking for new & different types of sugary treats. Things like beet-flavored ice cream & taffy that tastes like cocktails. Speaking of the Next Food Network Star, it precedes the new show, at 9pm. The 8 remaining wannabes get to meet Paula Deen. their task is to form teams of two & run a lunch truck at Venice Beach in L.A. Before that is FNC’s Challenge at 8pm. Four cake experts must make the most awesome cake ever, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Of course, don’t forget the lab-rats in Big Brother 12 land on CBS, at 8pm. The houseguests have been under lock & key for over a week now & tonight we will find who HOH Hayden puts up as nominees for eviction. Will they reveal who the “saboteur” is and has he/her struck again? Are there more twists in store? Is this the best season ever? Hopefully we’ll get some answers tonight.

HBO: True Blood at 9pm, then Hung at 10pm & Entourage at 10:30pm

E!: Kourtney & Khloe at10pm & Holly’s World at 10:30pm.

Lifetime: Drop Dead Diva at 9pm & Army Wives at 10pm.

Last, but not least, Kate Plus 8 on TLC at 9pm. Kate gets the kids chickens & does her own home improvements just to show she doesn’t need a man for anything!
