TV Spoilers: Do You Know What I’ve Heard?

Here’s what I’ve found out. Rob Corddry will return to NBC’s Community for it’s season #3 finale. NBC is bringing our favorite college show back to Thursday nights, beginning March 15th at 8pm, once again pitting it against The Big Bang Theory.

The finale will pit Jeff (Joel McHale) against his arch-enemy Alan Connor (Rob Corddry), who if you remember, is the one who turned Jeff in to the State Bar for not having a legit degree, which brought him back to the college. Long story short, Jeff will be representing Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Alan will be Pierce’s (Chevy Chase) lawyer when they square off in Greendale Summer Fun Court. The feud is over a sandwich business that Shirley and Pierce went into together. The finale will also feature the reappearance of Vice Dean Laybourne (John Goodman), as the Air Conditioning Repair Annex, who makes one last play for the soul of Troy (Donald Glover).

One last thing, Community has NOT been picked up for a 4th season and if it’s ratings are not good for its return, it is doomed. I don’t think it’s fair to once again, pit it against The Big Bang Theory, especially after they just boasted about kicking American Idol in the ratings last week. They’re just trying to save Tina Fey’s fat ass, that’s all, by moving 30 Rock out of that spot before they have to cancel her.

ABC’s Modern Family deals with a sad affair when Cameron’s clown mentor passes away. Bobby Cannavale will guest star as  Lewis, an “estranged ex-clown partner.” The episode also features an appearance by Ellen Barkin, who plays a competing real estate agent for Phil. I’m sure Phil will think something naughty is going on with Ms. Barkin and him. He has that way with the ladies, just ask him. The episode is titled  “Send out the Clowns” and will air March 14th at 9pm. I’m laughing just looking at this picture. Let’s all think about a clown funeral for a minute…..
