Viva Hollywood, Vh1′s new series that’s airing next Spring will be fully of steamy, hot, Latin Lovers. I had the chance to visit the set, but I was supposed to keep my mouth shut, and as soon as they said, “we’re doing a press release.” I was like…Finally, I can dish a bit!

Viva Hollywood is the search to find America’s number one telenovela star. This series will focus on 12 aspiring telanovela stars who will complete challenges that have to do with the “7 Deadly Sins of Telenovelas” : passion, lust, charisma, drama, fire, seduction and scandal. Every week after the contestants complete their challenges, they will be judged by Maria Conchita Alonso and singer-songwriter Carlos Ponce. The coolest thing is that they all get guidance from, Astrologer Walter Mercado.

I got a picture with him, but I’m still waiting for my friend to get it to me. I will share it as soon as I do! Anyway, while I was on set, Walter gave me astrological guidance! It was so freaky because he guessed my astrological sign upon meeting and knew all of these random things about me right away. And believe me, I was a skeptic, until he did it. Although the one thing I could not get my eyes of him was this one chin hair that was sticking out of his porcelain skin. Even Walter Mercado gets chin hair. Cut to me having seven years bad luck for saying that. ;-)

I’m digressing, the winner will win a $100,000 cash prize, a contract with Telemundo, and a representation by Latin World Management. Ay, yay, yay!

I’m thinking of something silver

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.
