Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

I don’t usually agree with Miss Andy, but Mazel!
I don’t watch any of the RH shows, so I only know of Andy from TV Gasm, but damn — that was hella awesome. Did anyone else catch that story of her saying that Jen Aniston banned her from the red carpet, and THEN Heidi said she made it all up? The delusion is not only hilarious, but disturbing. http://www.thesuperficial.com/heidi-montag-i-made-all-that-sht-up-02-2011
Guh! I should have checked the leftovers, cuz you posted all that! And here I was, thinking that you, Nads, may have missed some celebrity gossip. Clearly, I wasn’t thinking properly!
Andy is a big ole fame whore just like Heidi.
Heidi said she wanted to be on the RHW and Andy ran with it. He Mazeled and Jackholed..called her delusional and trash.. he talked about it more than she did.
He makes a living exposing other peoples lives and even though Heidi wouldn’t have been good enough for the RH according to him ( I wouldn’t want to see her on it either) he made damn sure to make fun of her for even thinking about it. Mazel…
He can’t manage to ask the tough questions when there is a reunion, but he certainly has no problem twitting, twatting.
I have never seen him ask anyone a direct uncomfortable question in person and he never calls someone a jackhole that could possibly be in the same region or could in any way, be on the show.
He is a Jackhole in my opinion.
TC, Robin
So, I’m a little confused: she’s a jackhole because she wants to be on his show? Isn’t that a compliment? How in the hell does it make any sense to rip Heidi for a compliment? I find it a bit hypocritical for Miss Andy to be judging Heidi for wanting to be on his show, as he has exposed the ruination of the Grammer marriage and possibly the Leakes marriage simply for ratings.
I’m thinking he called her a jackhole for implying that Bravo was considering her for the show. This was a lie, she was using it to drum up press for herself when she, in fact, was never aproached by anyone at Bravo.
I’m not sure why people expect Andy to condemn his cast for their bad behavior. Isn’t this what brings him ratings and guarantees them work for another season? he is not the voice of the people (viewers), so don’t expect him to take cast members to task. That would alienate them from what he wants them to do, which is to continue the bad behavior that has made his shows so popular. It’s no wonder he was recently promoted. He thinks like a producer and knows what sells.
He will ask the questions that people send in, but he lets the cast answer how they want. Based on ratings along, gripe as they may, very few viewers have gotten so frustrated that they stopped watching. Actually, it’s been quite the contrary. We love to see fuck-ups..it’s the basis of reality TV. So viewers keep coming back for more.
i kinda love miss andy; in a totally straight way, of course. nevertheless robenz and sarcasticare (is that the same/or asbadas obamacare?) ya might be onta sompthin’ blamin’ us.
@roger: It’s sarcasatire, nor sarcasticare, but perhaps you already knew that.
I’m not really blaming anyone. I just don’t think that we as viewers should expect employers (as Andy is) to chastise their cast for doing the very thing that makes these shows successful. It’s the equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot after it has been placed entirely in one’s mouth.
@sarcasatire i agree with u 100% who would tune in to watch if there was no more drama, lies, backstabbing and all around shitty drama? Im quite sure the ratings would drop drastically if andy took them to task or tried to make them see the error of their ways – i for one dont want them to change – if they did – all the fun in watching would be gone. I also agree with u that andy knows what sells
I admit to being frustrated by Andys rather lame hosting at the reunions. But I do understand why he doesn’t push his casts too far. He does want them back, after all. And lets not forget the very real possiblity that he is scared of quite a few of them (Kelly, Danielle, Theresa).
As to Heidi Montag……what a reality tragiwhore she has become. I remember the recaps of The Hills and the recapper (apologies, I cannot remember the recappers name) geniusely called Heidi out for being a narcissistic, uber controlling, delusional mastermind behind ‘Speidi’ back when everyone else considered her an emotional abuse victim. Kadoooz to you, recapper!!
Anyhoo – she was implying very heavily that she was ‘in talks’ to start on RHBH, which was a bald face lie. Andy has every right to call her on it and use whatever terms he wants to. After all, he has bosses too and who knows what shit rolled downhill to him when those bosses got wind of this so called casting choice.
I don’t see why asking the tough questions would make the housewives leave the show or stop their behavior. If Andy had made the follow up question to Taylor about her starting the altercation with Kim at her party, it isn’t like Taylor would have quit. Nor would it have changed Taylor’s behavior because that is WHO she is! She might have acted different for a short while but her scheming ways would have come to the surface eventually. I think the real reason he doesn’t badger them more is because he becomes friends with them. I think that is why he is sometimes more of a bitch to one person than the others.
“Love” is a strong word, Nads.
True…..but another theory is that these women live and die by their public persona. Look at Camille who was more appalled at the public perception of her then by anthing she actually did or said. The same holds true for Jill Z – she didn’t care that she was a rabid bitch to Bethanny or that she pushed Kelly (more) into a psychotic state. She was only concerned that her reputation was damaged and that the viewers didn’t buy her bullshit anymore.
Imo, if Andy pushed the housewives to answer tough questions **that would make them look bad** they just might leave. Or not. They are famewhores after all….
I love what Andy said, but no one should should ever say that cattiness to exclusive to women.
You know, I really don’t think Andy’s goal is to be friends with these women. I think there are a few that he really likes, like Nene, who he has on his show and loves to joke with. Plonk! But friends? Doubt it. He doesn’t fraternize with them..he’s more interested in his friendships with Anderson Cooper, SJP, and Kelli Ripa. Andy wouldn’t be caught dead out in public with Teresa, Jill, or Luann…or any of them, for that matter. Now, with the addition of the BH Housewives, perhaps that has changed. These ladies are a bit more connected and, if invited, I doubt Andy would turn down a chance to fly on Adrienne’s private jet.
By “friends” I didn’t mean actual friends. I guess I should have said “friendly” the same way that any of us become friendly with coworkers that you like. You are work-friends but wouldn’t go to dinner at each other’s house.
lol…yea, that’s more like it. Can you imagine Andy having dinner at th Brownstone? Although, I wouldn’t put it past him to slide over to Villa Blanca for a photo op or two. (with Jiggy, of course)
who does this guy think he is. to say that about the star of celeb get me out of here and multiple covers of US/people and the owner of some of the most talked about boobs in Stardom. She will pass him buy on her way to the top. Also one of the Top recording stars of our lifetime, Big Mistake Miss Andy
@thiajok – that made me LOL. It is a strong word. Sorry. hahaha
@sarcasatire–i knew, just typed it wrong and thought it was funny. i enjoy your posts.
@Roger..I figured as much but wasn;t sure because my name gets mispelled quite frequently around these parts, lol.
“Heidi told PEOPLE: “Andy’s tasteless remarks were hurtful and completely unnecessary… I have always been a fan of the Housewives franchise and I don’t appreciate being bullied.” -via Gawker
Andy probably rolled his eyes and said, “Oh come on, Heidi, quit using the buzz word of the moment.” (see what I did there?)
Andy responds: Dear Heidi – although perhaps a bit harsh, my remarks weren’t completely unnecessary since you’re apparently lying through your capped teeth when you announce that you and your husband are in talks to be on my network’s show. In talks with whom? Each other? Also, to paraphrase our own BH housewife Kyle, nice use of the buzzword of the moment, but you’re married to the only person I know who seems to enjoy bullying you. Ciao, Andy. -via Gawker
Heidi already got a People interview out of this, think she can flip into a Life & Style cover? “Andy Cohen bullied me. Systematically.”
@sarcasatire – you’ve nailed it on the head. LOL
@sarcasatire–its “roger”, no caps, no teeth. all in.
