Lynda-Carter

David E. Kelly is developing a Wonder Woman reboot for Warner Bros. Television. You know what I say to that? Sure! Why the hell not? If Hawaii Five-O can come back, then so can Wonder Woman. I know that they’ve been trying to develop the big screen reboot for quite sometime with no luck, so I guess the next best place to take it is TV.

And if anyone can reboot this damn series, it would be David E. Kelley. He created every courtroom, and hospital drama that’s on TV, plus my old favorite, Doogie Howser, M.D.

Who will play our next female heroine? Jack Black in drag?

It’ll be a miracle if this thing ever gets off the ground.

About

Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Well, my dad will be happy. Linda Carter was his crush back in the day. We gave him Wonder Woman everything – dolls, puzzles, posters, etc. as joke gifts. I came accross his W.W. stash when I had to sell their house. Wonder if it’s worth anything today?

Yeah…but these days TPTB won’t cast someone who looks like Lynda Carter. Instead of someone shaped like a woman, they will cast a size zero with little boy hips and giant implants…someone who looks like lifting a cigarette would break a finger. But we’ll be expected to believe she’s stronger than everyone.

    No thanks.

Linda Carter was my first adult woman crush. Yes, I’m a tiny bit Bi(yes my husband knows)…..I can’t think of anyone who can play the role. I remember over the summer EW had an article about casting Beyonce(hell to the no) for the role. The problem they will have is do you cast for the die hard WW fans or men/boys that want to see a half naked woman running around. Whoever they cast needs to be taller than 5’7(and that is pushing it,rather taller), defiantly NOT a size under a 4(which is morbidly obese in Hollywood standards).

Back when they were talking about the movie (when Joss Whedon was gonna be in charge – I’m still sad that didn’t work out) and there was a lot of casting discussions, Lauren Graham was rumored to be going after the part….and I still think she’d be PERFECT for this role….but she’s on another show right now….but that’s my dream for Wonder Woman!!

Is Tiffany Thiessen too old? I think she’d fill out the WW stars & stripes-tard nicely.
