Although comedy is her profession, Nadine has accomplished a lot in her young age. She is a national champion black belt, a world-class soccer player, and an avid snowboarder. She started playing soccer at the age of 4, and continued playing through college where she majored in Biology, but quickly realized her destiny was to tell jokes, not to wear a lab coat. So she decided to be funny while finishing her Bachelors Degree in biology and continued on to get her M.B.A. Nadine’s comedy style is much like her athleticism, fearless. She’s made her way up the comedy ladder very quickly, and has become a club favorite at many of the country’s top comedy clubs, including the Improv chain. Performing in the Boston Comedy Festival and being noted as the “one of the youngest and brightest up and comers” and traveling to the Middle East to entertain the troops are just a few of her notable accomplishments. These days Nadine splits time between the stage, a radio studio, her computer blogging, and a television studio. Nadine’s TV, Radio, Writing credits include: national commercials, talking head roles on E! Entertainment, Showtime’s Hot Tamales Live, The Skinny: Fat Free News, The Sunny Side of The Truth: Real World Hollywood, TVgasm, Zazreport, Daddy’s Girls, Jerseylicious, celebrity interviews on Mania TV, a weekly half-hour television show that syndicates to colleges across the country for National Lampoon and a nightly radio show on XM Satellite Radio.

Don’t blame Nicole after all it was what GOD wanted!
When He cast His vote for Marcus on His twitter account after sitting back in His recliner chopin on some devine cheese puffs He know exactly what was goin down! Everybody knows 1 vote from God = 1 billion votes from us mere mortals. I wonder who God will banish next week – tune in to see!
Is it necessary to make fun of her for saying it was all in God’s hands? Excuse her for having a belief, and can you blame her? After all she’s been through it’s good she has such a positive outlook on life. You’re entitled to your beliefs and lack thereof, but that comment was unnecessary.
98% of the comments made on TV Gasm are un-necessary. I sincerely hope that God has bigger issues to contend with than whether or not a 13 year old talented girl wins a TV singing contest or not.
The God I believe in tends to those TRULY in distress. After all, God helps those who help themselves.
So my advice to ALL reality show contestants is quit looking for divine intervention, rely on yourself and remember it’s ONLY a GAME!!!
@considerthis,
Amen!
@considerthis… LOLOLOLOLOL. But everything happens for a reason!!!!
@KB: Reality show competitors that invoke God always take flak on the Internet. I think it’s not so much that commenters are disparaging religion (or, as you imply, are godless), but that they feel it’s disrespectful to call on God to help you win a reality TV show. Ask God for strength, ask Him for support. Ask Him to look after your loved ones, or people who are really in DESPERATE need. “Help me to sing pretty for Simon Cowell”? That’s not cool.
And it’s also become a reality TV cliche: every show’s got “the religious one”. People are reacting negatively to God being used as a cheap plot device. (People may not consciously KNOW that’s why they object to holy rollers on TV, but I think my argument is what’s at the root of their negative reaction.)
I’m aware that a lot of comments are unnecessary, including mine, but I was leaving my opinion just like everyone else. I can criticize you just as you’re criticizing me. But after this, I’ll just try and keep my opinions to myself since everyone else can say something, but I can’t.
What I got from her comment was that it wasn’t in God’s plan for her to win, not that God was spending time on reality show contestants. Lots of ppl say that when things don’t go their way. I also never said considerthis was Godless, I said that ppl are entitled to believe or not believe in God. You implies all people, not one specific person. Maybe I should have said yall.
KB- I think the gasm appreciates all different types of opinions, whether yours may be in the minority or not sometimes. But for the record… you were first in telling another poster that their comment was unnecessary, not the other way around. You can comment as much as the next person, but if you’re gonna give a poster flak, expect it back. It’s not about having to keep opinions to one’s self because others disagree, but respecting that different opinions are going to encourage dialogue and debate and that if your (not you in general, anyone who’s comment) sparked the debate, it’s very likely responses will be directed at you.
The gasm is full of snark and zings and petty back and forths. It’s not meant to be personal. One day you’re fighting over lipgloss and the next day you’re both laughing at the crazy moms on toddlers and tiaras.
Keep posting and, when the topic allows, this perhaps excluded, have some fun with it!
I, for one, am tired of the fundamentalist takeover of reality television. The X-factor has a particularly horrible bible-thumper quotient this year — the only one left who hasn’t yet unveiled his religious sentiment is the greasy burrito guy. Although I’m guessing he’ll play the god card by next week, just in case that skeevy Marcus Canty creep might slime by again.
I’m not even joking. I believe there’s a fundamentalist propaganda campaign at work here. These people want to turn the US into one big fucking church (as another commenter put it so rightly the other day).
